Our thought leadership campaign for Totaljobs demystified career changes for workers and employers after COVID-19 turned the labour market on its head.
Tasked with creating a concept that would engage both employers and candidate audiences, we took inspiration from Totaljobs’ insights into the jobs market.
COVID and Brexit had caused a dramatic shift with sectors like Hospitality and Retail contracting while Logistics, Customer Service and Care surged. Feedback from Totaljobs’ sales teams revealed that candidates and employers often didn’t know where to look for jobs or talent outside of their sector.
Our solution was “The Totaljobs Transfer Market” which aimed to demystify career changes.
Over 270k job ads and 1m skills were analysed on the Totaljobs platform to identify the most compatible ‘transfers’ and help employers and candidates find talent and roles in other sectors.
“Transfer Market” guides to career changes in 40+ sectors were created alongside consumer research commissioned to better understand people’s attitudes towards career changes.
350+ stories and compelling content sparked conversations, helping secure hundreds of sales leads and an increase in web traffic in the week of launch.
