To celebrate 100,000 football kits donated to grassroots football clubs across the UK as part of McDonald’s Accredited Club Kit Scheme, Red Consultancy worked with football super star Gareth Bale to ensure this landmark achievement was headline news.

We took Gareth to visit a small grassroots football club in Wales and surprised the children with a training session led by Gareth.  The session also provided opportunities for media interviews, stakeholder engagement and the creation of content for use across social channels and online media.  The distribution of our media assets was meticulously planned to ensure content provided campaign longevity.

The activity successfully delivered across owned, earned and shared media with high levels of reach and engagement…and gave 30 young boys and girls an experience they would never forget!
