Red Consultancy created a hard-hitting short film to highlight the desperate measures the young homeless will go to for a bed for the night.
Our starting point was a Centrepoint report that found 26% of women without a fixed address would spend the night with a stranger to get a bed for the night. The charity also had anecdotal evidence of young people using dating apps to do so.
In response, our Creative Services team created and produced a film showing the dark side of dating apps which was used on Centrepoint’s social channels and as part of their Christmas fundraising push.
With a sensitive case study accompanying the film, our PR team targeted just two key media titles to cover the story: Cosmo Online and Huffington Post. The film has been shared more than 48,000 times to date.
