Butterkist’s ambition is to own the popcorn moment by inserting the brand into dramatic moments in culture.

We set out to do this by working in close collaboration with advertising agency, St Luke’s, to amplify Butterkist ‘Here for the Drama’ tactical advertising placements.

As the nation tuned in to the Boris Johnson “Partygate” drama, and ahead of the interim Sue Gray report being released, Butterkist took its mobile advertising poster outside Downing Street.  We turned this into a media stunt by sampling popcorn to the media camped outside and working closely with PA to deliver visual assets for editorial and social outreach.
