Better LGBTQ+ ad representation needed

Red Consultancy has been working with Carpetright to get the nation Rhumba Ready in light of new research that revealed 11% of Brits get so wrapped-up in the rhythm that they can’t help but dance along in their living rooms.
To get people up on their feet – and crucially laying a new laminate floor too – ex-Strictly star Arlene Phillips was enlisted to launch ‘Take to the Floor’, a new campaign featuring ‘how-to-dance’ films to help viewers improve their moves in Sala, Charleston, Disco and Rhumba.
Content was created for a destination online as well as a social media competition that got the brand’s Facebook and Twitter fans dancing along too.
Red's campaign generated over 190 pieces of coverage including Mirror Online, Express Online and the Huffington Post, whilst our video content also delivered three articles on Mail Online.
