Re-imagining Shakespeare with Adobe
The brightest talent in grassroots football have been honoured at this year’s McDonald’s & FA Grassroots Football Awards.
The ceremony took place during this year’s FA Community Shield where the winners enjoyed their moment in the spotlight as they joined host Ben Shepherd on stage to receive their awards. They also got the chance to walk onto the hallowed Wembley turf at half-time during the match.
And we helped ensure that the winners, who dedicate countless hours to the grassroots game, were no longer unsung heroes!
We worked with nine McDonald’s ambassadors during the event – including Danny Murphy, Gareth Barry and Kimberley Walsh – to capture social content for McDonald’s Fun Football social channels and take part in media interviews. Plus we embarked on regional sells in around each winner.
With coverage rolling in across broadcast, national and regional titles, it’s fair to say the campaign has hit the back of the net with this year’s awards!
