SABRE AWARDS HAT-TRICK

Red Consultancy has scored a hat-trick of nominations at this year’s Sabre Awards.

The Sabre Awards is the world’s largest PR awards programme and the following campaigns were selected from over 2,400 entries from across the EMEA region to be named finalists:

Consumer Health Award:  Boots UK

  • The insomnia-esque impact of hayfever (or  “insneezia” as we named it) was the focus of a campaign which included releasing a million petals on a summer’s evening in central London to dramatise how falling night-time pollen exacerbates symptoms just at the point when one-a-day medications wear off.

Consumer Marketing (Existing Product) Award: Federation of Bakers and Flour Advisory Bureau

  • Red relaunched bread as the ultimate bikini food with the help of Georgia from The Only Way Is Essex.  The campaign successfully challenged TOWIE’s famous pre-holiday mantra of ‘no carbs before Marbs’ and significantly changed opinions among the target audience of young women, making them feel more positive about eating bread.

Food Service Award:  McDonald’s

  • McDonald’s Better Play programme aims to raise standards amongst grassroots football clubs and Red helped take the programme to new heights in 2015 by significantly increasing football participation, social engagement and media coverage.

Winners will be announced on May 25th in Berlin.
