Better LGBTQ+ ad representation needed
When SlimFast revealed its new celebrity ambassador, Red's dedicated social and digital team (Shiny Red) played an important role.
Working closely with a multitude of agencies, Shiny Red helped create hype around the appointment of former X Factor star and West End singer Alexandra Burke with a social tease video prompting our social community to 'guess who'? A few days later, a second video was shared across SlimFast social channels about Alexandra being the latest SlimFast success story having lost 18lbs on the plan.
Shiny Red also amplified exclusive behind-the-scenes content from Alexandra's branded photo shoot and footage from the first SlimFast TV ad in several years which was used to launch the brand onto Facebook.
The new ad, featuring Alexandra, plays a big part of Shiny Red's competitive PPC strategy for the brand around this peak diet season too.
