Stirling work as McDonald’s Sport heads to Scotland
The McDonald’s Sport team kicked off the Fun Football activity with a trip to St George’s Park with Gareth Southgate, Casey Stoney and Marvin Humes.
The event was held to train the 60 coaches who will deliver McDonald’s fun football sessions to 500,000 children across the UK. This was one of the biggest announcements McDonald’s has made across its 17 year sponsorship with the home nations' FAs and expectations were high with McDonald’s CEO, Paul Pomroy in attendance. We even overcame the recent UEFA racism row, to keep Southgate in play with media interviews.
Coverage following the event has been running riot delivering 190+ pieces of online coverage including MailOnline, with print stories including Daily Star, Daily Telegraph, The Sun and Daily Mirror (including back page photo coverage). This is in addition to 3 separate pieces of coverage on Sky Sports News.
The team really hit the back of the net and the McDonald’s client was EXTREMELY happy.
