Better LGBTQ+ ad representation needed
We supported the global launch of Huawei’s latest AI powered smartphone, ensuring that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro was everyone’s new friend!
The launch was split over two events: a global keynote presentation attended by over 160 national and consumer tech media in the morning and a star-studded celebration in the evening for over 500 celebs, influencers and media.
As well as securing media attendance, we delivered deeper, well-messaged coverage through forty 1:1 interviews with Huawei UK and HQ spokespeople as well as co-ordinating sample requests.
The evening event saw guests get hands on with the latest device in a series of unique activations whilst being entertained by DJ sets from radio and television presenter Nick Grimshaw and model-come-DJ Amber Le Bon.
We also partnered with five key tech YouTubers on a series of unboxings, deep dive reviews and comparison content to spread buzz and excitement on social ahead of the device going on sale on 26th October.
The launch was a huge success with the Mate 20 Pro hitting headlines everywhere…with 472 articles published within 48 hours of the press conference alone!
