McDonald’s has launched its first ever reservation-only restaurant!
To celebrate the national roll-out of The Signature Collection – McDonald's premium range of burgers – ‘luxury in a bun’ was taken to the next level with the grandest version of a McDonald’s restaurant ever seen…
Situated in Kensington, the restaurant’s decadent interior was designed by Made In Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli, a fine dining expert and self-professed “hedonist perfectionist”. Guests, who were selected after signing up to the reservation service online, were welcomed into the restaurant by a string quartet before being escorted to their tables to sample The Signature Collection burgers served under silver cloches by uniformed butlers.
Our consumer and social teams combined to deliver both column inches and social conversations. After securing over 60 pieces on the reservation service alone, yesterday they hosted eight broadcast crews (including BBC, ITN, ABC and Bloomberg), a host of foodie influencers and 75 lucky members of public. Plus Wes and Jack from this year’s Love Island also dropped in for a bite to eat!
