Singing the praises of unsung heroes
We worked with Sanofi Pasteur to help encourage UK holiday makers to seek travel health advice before going abroad.
The number of British people venturing beyond Europe and North America on holiday has more than tripled in the last 30 years, yet a new survey of 2,000 people, commissioned by Sanofi Pasteur, suggests only 17% of UK holidaymakers always get a travel health risk assessment before going abroad.
We teamed up with experienced adventurer Ben Fogle, and TV Doctor Christian Jessen, to help raise awareness of how changing British holiday habits could be putting people at increased risk of travel-related diseases.
The campaign achieved coverage in a host of national and regional media outlets, exceeded expectations in terms of social engagement, and drove a significant increase in traffic to Sanofi Pasteur’s dedicated travel health website, Smarter Traveller.
