Better LGBTQ+ ad representation needed
Red Consultancy has been helping McDonald’s show how their Happy Meals are even happier!
McDonald’s has been working to reformulate and evolve the contents of its popular Happy Meals and to educate parents about these positive changes, they partnered with Barry, the top foodie influencer behind My Virgin Kitchen. Barry filmed an exciting day going behind-the-scenes at a potato farm, seeing where McNuggets are made and having a go in a restaurant kitchen. Putting his own spin on what he learned, Barry released a video of his experience.
Red identified and secured the partnership with Barry and further supported the activity by partnering with BritMums bloggers who threw a Twitter Party to talk about the choices which parents now have at McDonald's. Great comments from the community have shown that there’s now a much greater understanding of what’s on offer for children when having a McDonald’s treat.
