CIPR Excellence Awards shortlist revealed

We’re beyond delighted to have been shortlisted for six CIPR Excellence Awards including a trio of nominations for our work with Sky Mobile.

It’s especially rewarding to see such a spread of categories and campaigns, reflecting the super talented teams we have here at Red.

The shortlisted campaigns are:

Consumer Relations Campaign, Best Use of Social Media, and Best Use of Content: Sky Mobile – Time to 65075

  • Our ultimate break-up track and parody video encouraged Brits to ‘break-up’ with their network providers and switch to Sky Mobile, promoting industry initiative ‘Text to Switch’.

Best Use of Media Relations:  McDonald’s – The launch of the McPlant

  • Our ‘cutting veg campaign’ for McDonald’s first ever vegan burger generated almost 1,000 articles and 27m Twitter impressions – all helping the McPlant hit spectacular sales results.

Social Purpose Campaign: Smart Energy GB – Whatever the weather

  • This campaign reframed smart meters from money-saving gadgets to being essential in helping tackle climate change.

STEM Campaign : Thales – Inspiring future Martians 

  • We created a compelling news angle about the pandemic inspiring kids’ interest in STEM to help launch the Thales MarsBalloon school science project.

The results will be announced on 8th June.
