Singing the praises of unsung heroes
Call of Duty: WW2, the latest game in the hugely successful Call of Duty series, was revealed at London’s IMAX this week, with a globally broadcast live stream featuring the premiere of the reveal trailer, behind the scenes footage, live interviews with the game’s developers, and a chat with in-game actors including Hollywood star Josh Duhamel.
Red Consultancy managed event logistics, talent handling and assisted with localised livestreams for five different territories, as well as generated UK editorial coverage across an array of media titles including 31 top-tier sites who hosted the livestream. We also sourced and managed content creators in attendance and oversaw the social media outputs which lead to #CODWWII trending on Twitter.
So far, over 1,200 articles have been published across Europe, there have been 8.1m views of creator content on YouTube, and the livestream has had more than 20m views worldwide to date.
