BAE Systems has announced plans to recruit 802 apprentices in 2020 – a record-breaking intake.
Apprentices will have the opportunity to join over 25 programmes in BAE Systems’ different businesses across the length and breadth of the UK, including Air, Land, Maritime and Applied Intelligence, where they will benefit from a tailored scheme that combines a recognised qualification with on-the-job training.
With help from some of BAE Systems’ current inspiring apprentices, and comment from Secretary of State for Education Gavin Williamson, we helped launch the scheme. Over 60 national, broadcast and radio pieces have been secured to date including BBC News, Daily Mail, Evening Standard and Press Association.
