A-level results may be out today, but yesterday was the big results day for our VoucherCodes.co.uk team who hit the headlines with their ‘Cost of Back to School’ story.
We worked with the UK’s largest voucher website to commission research amongst 2,000 parents which revealed that British parents spend £244.90 on average getting each of their children ready for the new school year. 46% of parents are also worried a out how they’re going to afford the cost of kitting out their kids for the new term.
To launch the findings, the team did their homework with a major targeted pre-sell, including securing the story on the Press Association wires, to ensure headlines stacked up from minute one. Consumer and trade coverage is still rolling in but we’ve already seen more than 200 hits including Mirror Online, Mail Online, ITV.com, TES and reaching right across the regionals.
