Dangers of taking a dip
Aldi’s Twitter party was the place to be over Easter, offering food and recipe inspiration over the Easter break.
Shiny Red, Red Consultancy's specialist social media team, created the Aldi Easters Feasters Twitter Party campaign to position the supermarket as the one stop shop for everything you need for an amazing Easter ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
The team identified and secured four popular UK foodie influencers to host a series of Twitter parties to push core Easter products and recipes on the Aldi website. Each influencer created a new recipe to discuss with the Aldi UK community live in a series of four Twitter takeovers, including inspiration for side dishes, drinks, alternative flavours and products they’d need to recreate the dishes.
We drove campaign awareness and encouraged participation via a series of posts, both news feed style ads and profile posts with advertising spend behind them, teasing all four influencer partnerships and their new Aldi recipes.
The series was a huge success, generating over 4 million impressions and high-level of engagement across the four days of parties!
