Account Director – Consumer PR

We are looking for a talented Account Director to join our Consumer Play team, who work with great brands across leisure and lifestyle, including mobile technology and home entertainment.

This role will be working on an exciting consumer tech brand in the telecoms space. The client has a premium product range that spans smartphones, wearables audio and PC. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the consumer tech/mobile space.

As an Account Director, you will ensure the smooth day to day running of the account. In addition, provide senior client counsel, develop creative and strategic PR campaigns, and oversee and support best practice and high standards across the team.

Some of the things you’ll be doing: 

  • Producing high quality, creative and thoughtful plans and proposals, from development and planning, through to execution
  • Leading and managing a team of account managers and execs, providing direction, motivation and professional development support
  • Managing budgets and keeping on track of account administration
  • Getting involved in presentations to existing client and new business.

Who you are:

  • An Account Director or an established Senior Account Manager seeking a step up to AD
  • An enthusiastic manager with strong organisational skills who enjoys upskilling junior colleagues
  • Excellent media knowledge and a strong industry network
  • Able to turn around high-quality work to short deadlines
  • Experienced in forming strong client relationships.

Brownie Points:

  • Telecoms experience is desirable but not essential if you have wider consumer tech experience.
  • Experience managing pan-EMEA programmes
  • A 360 approach with PR at the core but social and influencer experience definitely a plus
